“TANK COUNTRY” is Carson Lewis’s second album and it’s a step in a more powerful direction than his barebones acoustic record “El Niño”. A great summertime record with good vibes and influences of country, blues, R&B and Reggae. Carson has handed out over 1000 CDs of this record to his fans for free.
“El Niño” was the one that started it all. While out of work recovering from a knee surgery, Carson Lewis wrote and recorded “El Niño” in 2 days just for fun. Using only one mic, he wanted to see what he could come up with in just a day. No overthinking it, no overproducing, just having fun. The album is primarily just acoustic guitar, bass and vocals. This sparked Carson to fully double down on becoming a solo artist and to dive headfirst into music.
